Contrasts

Yesterday we had a huge dump of snow, and today we've had blazing sunshine.
Have more or less settled back into the work routine, although things haven't been as hectic as they were last year...yet! It's nice though, to have a bit a extra time to spend with Jay and Miyu. The little monkey now has two tiny teeth peeking through in the lower front quadrant. He knaws anything that is within grasping distance, so we've thought it time to start him on some basic food. Just diluted miso soup at the moment, which he really loves! Kinda goes all over him at the moment, as he hasn't got the handle of dealing with swallowing something on a spoon, but he sure does enjoy it, as can be seen in the photo above.
He's began to do this ultra cute thing too, where he'll put his face into my chest as I hold him, then I say "where's Jay?" and then he pops up smiling and laughing, and repeats this for the next ten minutes, getting increasingly giddy with lack of oxygen due to hysterical cackling!
Ahh, the joys of parenthood : )
